ToyStory3 Film Review
Toy Story 3 Film Review.
Toy story 3 is about a boy called Andy who is the owner of many toys he used to play with when he was little including Woody, Buzz Lightyear and their little horse Bullseye all kept in a wooden toy box in his bedroom.
The toys were played with for many years and had many exciting adventures with Andy building a special bond that couldn’t be torn apart by anyone or anything. Then as Andy grew up in his teenage years the poor toys were abandoned. One day Andy moves out to go to college and has to decide what toys stay in the house, go to Sunny Side play school as a donation and which toys come to college with him.
Woody is chosen to come to college with him and is packed into a box full of Andy’s possession which are being taken to college. The rest of the toys are going up into the attic until Andy is disturbed just before placing them into their new home. Andy’s mum thinks he has put the toys into the bag to be donated for the Sunny Side play school.
As Woody is watching what has gone on in the hallway he makes a quick escape to save the toys in the bag. They are all placed in the back of the car and Woody hops in just before the car is shut.
The Toys always thought they were going to be donated but Woody knows different but no one believes him. The toys are all excited to be going to a new home as they will be played with.
The toys meet many new friends but they soon find out this new life isn’t what they all expected. Their adventure is all about sticking together as a team and making sure they are all looking out for one another and there is one special friend they make along the way of this touching story.
Watch the movie to see what happens. This movie touched everyone in the cinemas and left them hanging on a thread at times as the audience including me didn’t know what was going to happen as there was an unexpected turn put into this thrilling movie.

Wild Target – Film Review
By Bradley Tong Christleton High School – Wild target (12a) is a hilarious action packed drama, which will have you laughing all through the film. With Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley from The Harry Potter series) all grown up and taking a step away from the harry potter films, he really comes out of his shell and shows his ability to fall in to almost any role.
The film is about an assassin who is hired to kill an attractive con artist, but after following her he decides he has to protect her, from his replacement.
The comedy is timed perfectly and there wasn’t a moment in the film where I didn’t feel as the film could have been directed any better, also the action and comedy blended very well together to give a real sort of feel to the film.
The plot is simple and easy to follow, it does not rear of into any side story’s which are hard to understand. This film is perfect for a family day out, and if you are stuck for something to do this holidays it is perfect to take you teenagers to go see and they will love it.

The Chart Review
This week I’ve taken up the challenge of writing the blog for thiskidloves.com and I’m reviewing the Top 10 Chart Singles
I’ll be honest; I haven’t listened to The Official Chart show in years…
In fact the last time I took an interest in listening to the Top 40 on a Sunday evening; I was armed with a tape recorder; praying that one side of the tape didn’t come to an end in the middle of a song!
Thankfully things have moved on and we’re no longer in the 90’s.
Listening to this weeks Official Chart Top 40 I found some great tunes to get us into the mood for the Summer Holidays.
They included: Plan B with She said; Train with Hey soul sister; Scissor Sisters with Fire with fire.
Each week I’ll be asking; “which top tune is getting you in the groove this week”
In this weeks Top 10 we have 3 new entries, 6 dropping down places and 1 moving on up
Kicking us off and getting us into the mood for the Summer is;
10 – Example with ‘Kickstarts’; a catchy tune and one for the Club scene (if it isn’t already!)
9 – Kylie with ‘All the lovers’; down 6 places but definitely back to her best with a great track – everyone loves a bit of Kylie (so my 6 year old daughter says)
8 – Lady Gaga with ‘Alejandro’…“don’t call my name”; cool and funky – what the Lady does best
7 – 3OH!3 (feat. Kesha) with ‘My first kiss’; brand new entry this week – let’s see if it goes higher next week
6 - Enrique Iglesias (feat. Pitbull) with ‘I like it’; down one place this week and still a top Summer tune
5 – Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP with ‘We speak no Americano’; brand new entry this week and set to be a big hit this Summer for the Aussie duo! Definitely catchy and one that will be played over and over again
4 – Eminem (feat. Rhianna) with ‘Love the way you lie’; the only hit moving up in this weeks Top 10 – good combination with Eminem & Rhianna
3 – B.o.B (feat. Hayley Williams) with Airplanes; down one place and a great mix of rap with pop
2 – Katy Perry (feat Snoop Dogg) with California gurls; dropping down one place to number 2 after 1 week at the top, but still a great Summer hit
Straight in at the top and this weeks number 1…
JLS with ‘The Club is alive’…“with the sound of music”; their 3rd number 1 hit in the UK and getting plenty of air play over the last 7 days
Getting me in the groove this week is…Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP with ‘We speak no Americano’
Which top tune is getting you in the groove this week?
Have a great week and join me next time as I look at what’s hot, what’s not and who’s on top!
Bye for now
Jeff
